Annual Plan of Provision

What is our Annual Plan of Provision?

Our Annual Plan of Provision sets out how prayer, liturgy and Catholic Life are lived and celebrated throughout the school year at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Brindle. Rooted in our mission “Together we love, learn, follow Jesus,” the plan provides a clear and intentional rhythm of worship that follows the seasons of the Church and reflects the unique identity of our school community.

The plan outlines the spiritual opportunities offered across the year—from whole‑school liturgies, class‑based Celebrations of the Word and pupil‑led worship, to retreats, parish links and community outreach. It ensures that children experience a rich variety of ways to encounter God, deepen their faith and grow in discipleship.

Drawing on the liturgical seasons, the plan details how the atmosphere, prayer life and worship practices shift throughout Advent, Christmas, Lent, Eastertide, Pentecost and Ordinary Time. It also highlights the important role of pupil leadership groups, charitable action, and partnerships with families and parish in shaping our Catholic Life and Mission.

Inclusivity is central to the plan. Every child—regardless of background, need or faith tradition—is supported to participate meaningfully in prayer and liturgy. Our approach reflects the belief that all are made in the image and likeness of God and are called to flourish.

Through thoughtful planning, careful monitoring and a strong commitment to spiritual formation, the Annual Plan of Provision ensures that Catholic Life remains vibrant, reflective and at the heart of everything we do, so that in all things, God may be glorified.
