We are proud that St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Brindle continues to be recognised by Ofsted as a good school where children thrive academically, socially and spiritually.

 

Our Latest Inspection (February 2025)

Ofsted confirmed that St Joseph’s has taken effective action to maintain the high standards identified at the previous inspection. Inspectors praised our “small and mighty school” where pupils feel safe, behave exceptionally well and achieve highly.

Highlights from the 2025 report include:

  • A coherent and ambitious curriculum from Early Years to Year 6.

  • Strong teaching in early reading and mathematics, helping pupils get off to a confident start.

  • Excellent support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

  • Pupils who are kind, well‑mannered and proud of their school.

  • A rich programme of personal development and leadership opportunities, preparing pupils for life beyond school.

  • Governors who provide valuable support and challenge, ensuring staff wellbeing and workload are carefully managed.
