A Warm Welcome from the Headteacher:

Welcome to St Joseph’s. We are a small, friendly Catholic school in Brindle, Hoghton, on the outskirts of Bamber Bridge and within easy reach of Preston, Blackburn and Chorley.

At St Joseph’s, we are proud to be an inclusive community where every child and family is warmly welcomed. As a Catholic school, we embrace families of all faiths and of none, recognising that it is our shared values—and not our differences—that bring us together. Our size is one of our greatest strengths: we know each child and family personally, and we understand how powerful the partnership between home and school is in helping children thrive.
We promise that every child will be nurtured, supported and encouraged to grow in confidence, develop their talents and reach their full potential.

Our curriculum is rich, ambitious and carefully designed. Reading and communication sit at the heart of learning, and our maths curriculum challenges children to adopt a resilient, “never give up—everyone can succeed” mindset. Above all, we encourage children to be curious, courageous and willing to take risks in their learning. We want them to discover new talents, surprise themselves with what they can achieve, and develop a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the beautiful world God has entrusted to us. As a proud Forest School, we make full use of this wonderful resource at every opportunity.

We are incredibly proud of our school, our community, and—most of all—our amazing children.

I hope you find everything you need on our website. If you have any questions or would like further information, please contact us at [email protected] or call 01254 853473. Paper copies of any documents on our website are available free of charge from the school office.
