Parish
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School has always been deeply rooted in the life, mission and prayer of The Parish of St Joseph, Brindle. For generations, the parish and school have worked closely together to nurture faith, community and a shared commitment to loving and serving others.
Parish Merger with St Bede’s
In March 2026, the Parish of St Joseph formally merged with The Parish of St Bede’s, Clayton Green. This significant moment in our parish history reflects the wider mission of the Archdiocese to strengthen parish communities and ensure vibrant worshipping communities for the future.
Although the parishes have merged, the identity, heritage and spiritual legacy of St Joseph’s Parish continue to be cherished and celebrated by our school and local community.
Our Parish Priest – Father Mark Beattie
We are delighted to be served by our new Parish Priest, Father Mark Beattie, who now ministers to the combined parish community of St Joseph’s and St Bede’s. Father Mark continues to support the school through prayer, liturgy and pastoral guidance, helping us to deepen our Catholic mission and live out our faith each day.
Opportunities for Prayer at St Joseph’s
Even though the parish has merged, there remain regular opportunities for prayer and reflection at St Joseph’s Church. These moments of worship allow parishioners, families and visitors to continue gathering in this much‑loved sacred space.

-
Provide opportunities for prayer, worship and service
-
Strengthen the bonds between parish, school and community
St Joseph’s Parish will always hold a special place in the heart of our school, and we look forward to continuing this shared journey of faith for many years to come.
